Niagara falls- how it looked like in circa1837

Notice a man down there to cut something at the foot iof the falls. I don't have much of this kind of classic fotos but would like to have from collectors.

I would like anyone to contribute classic photos of Niagara falls, or for that matter, any water falls, worth seeing. Please mention, while uploading, whether it is classic or modern, when it was taken, which is the fall, and its geographic location. If you could manage a snippet on its tourism value, I think that would be great.

I want to publish worthy fotos with the contributors' names attributed rightfully.
